In 2021 I worked with Jagex to design a range of merchandise for the brand.
The client's specifications called for a creative, premium, and desirable product that would subvert the typical perception of branded merchandise as being low-quality and unappealing. Through careful material selection and attention to detail, I designed a product that captured the luxurious essence of the Jagex brand and left customers feeling excited to own and use it.
The Coffee Dripper and Jug reference the well-known computer symbol for waiting, the hourglass icon. Transforming a usually nominal experience (waiting) into a positive one with a rewardful outcome (great coffee!).
Designed to be a statement piece in the home, yet fitting in everywhere. The hourglass shape was implemented in a subtle way with the conical filter and the angular glass jug. The Coffee Dripper expresses playfulness, nostalgia and analog.
